Sliding Door Service
Track Replacement
Full stainless track replacement for doors damaged beyond repair.
The Problem
Severe corrosion, deep grooves, or structural damage can leave a track beyond capping. A failed track will destroy any new rollers within weeks.
Our Solution
We remove the damaged track and install a new stainless steel track system precisely fitted to your door, restoring a durable, corrosion-resistant surface.
When a track has corroded through, cracked, or been ground so deeply that a cap will not sit flat, full replacement is the right call. This is common on older waterfront homes where decades of salt exposure have eaten into the original aluminum.
We fabricate and fit a stainless steel track sized to your specific door system, then re-hang the panels on fresh rollers and align everything to factory tolerances. Because stainless resists the corrosion that destroyed the original, a replacement track is effectively a permanent upgrade.
Track replacement is more involved than a roller swap, but it is still far faster and less expensive than replacing the entire door and frame — and it preserves the glass, the finish, and the opening you already have.

Track Replacement FAQs
When is track replacement necessary instead of repair?
When the original track is corroded through, cracked, or ground so deep that a stainless cap cannot seat properly. In those cases a full stainless replacement is the durable solution.
